Mera Gaon Meri Dunia

 Through our campaign #MeraSchoolSafeBhiSaafBhi, we ( Mera Gaon Meri Dunia ) are working with Youth Ki Awaaz to get back the girls who have dropped out from school and support those who are planning to drop out. One of our friends Nidhika, who is able to establish herself as an independent individual through her education, has something to share with everyone and those girls who are thinking of dropping out! शुरूआती स्कूल के वर्षों में यानिकी 7-8 वीं तक सब कुछ सामान्य सा रहा क्योंकि स्कूल गाँव में ही था और दूर भी नहीं था. लेकिन जब 8वीं से आगे पढ़ने की बात आई तो यह सवाल पूरे परिवार के मन में था कि इतना दूर भेजना क्यों है और क्या ही ज़रूरत है इसे आगे पढ़ने की, लड़की ही तो है क्या करेगी पढ़कर! माता-पिता का सहयोग मिला और मैं आगे पढ़ पाई, फिर भी नया माहौल और नए लोगों के बीच एक दम से जाना थोड़ा मुश्किल था. 11वीं में सब्जेक्ट चुनने की चिंताएं इस हद तक बढ़ गई थी कि मैं स्कूल छोड़ देने का ख़याल करने लगी थी. उस वक़्त पापा और मेरी मौसी के सहयोग और सलाह से मैं ख़ुद पर यकीन कर पाई और अपनी 12 वीं तक की पढ़ाई कर

मेरा गाँव मेरी दुनिया, यूथ की आवाज़ के साथ मिलकर इस समय महिदपुर तहसील के कुछ गाँवों में स्कूल छोड़ रही और छोड़ चुकी लड़कियों को फिर से स्कूल लाने के लिए एक मुहीम मेरा स्कूल safe भी साफ़ भी पर काम कर रही है.  हमने 7 गाँव में सर्वे किया और पाया कि मिडिल और हाई स्कूल में पढ़ने वाली अधिकांश लडकियाँ अपने स्कूल में स्वच्छ और पानी की सुविधायुक्त टॉयलेट्स से वंचित है. ज्यादातर स्कूल में टॉयलेट्स तो हैं लेकिन पानी की सुविधा नहीं है जिसके कारण लड़कियों को आम दिनों और पीरियड्स के दिनों में भी कई चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ता है. लगभग 90% प्रतिशत लडकियाँ पीरियड्स के दौरान स्कूल जाती ही नहीं हैं; जिससे उनका दैनिक जीवन और पढ़ाई दोनों प्रभावित होते हैं. कुछ स्कूल में टॉयलेट्स उपयोग किये जाने वाली अवस्था में ही नहीं है. सिर्फ 2 स्कूल RTE के सारे प्रावधानों पर खरे उतर पाए. हम इस मुहीम के द्वारा RTE 2009 में उल्लेखित स्कूल के मापदंडो को लागू करवाने और स्कूल के कैंपस को उन्हीं के आधार पर बनाये जाने के लिए कार्यरत हैं ताकि अपनी पढ़ाई जारी रख सकें और अपना भविष्य ख़ुद संवारें. आप किसी तरह से कुछ करना चाहते हैं तो हमस

"मेरे जैसी ज्यादातर लड़कियाँ अपने आसपास या गाँव में अच्छा स्कूली माहौल न होने के कारण पढ़ाई बीच में ही छोड़ दिया करती हैं क्योंकि उनके पास बाहर जाकर पढ़ने का अवसर नहीं होता। उन्हें समझाया जाता है कि बाहर रहकर पढ़ाई करना उनके अधिकार क्षेत्र से बाहर है। आमतौर पर लड़की हिम्मत ही नहीं जुटा पाती कि आगे कुछ कर सके या हिम्मत कर भी ले तो उसे बहुत सारी मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ता है। घर से क्लासरूम तक वैसा माहौल मिलता नहीं जिसमें वह सहज महसूस करे। एक लड़की को पढ़ाई से ज्यादा फिक्र अपने चरित्र को बचाने की होती है और ऐसे में कोई लड़की अपने व्यक्तित्व का विकास कैसे कर पाएग

"While taking the self academic assessment, I realized that how much children have to do when it comes to studying and tests and that put me in shock, I am still wondering how this can be overcome in the teaching process,"   says   Manisha   of our Sparsh Fellows. Who is going to take  ownership of transforming the education scenario in the villages ?  We found that  94 percent of children  in the  rural Mahidpur road cluster   cant read 2nd level text . Mera Gaon Meri Dunia started  Sparsh  with 10 rural youth to lead the education transformation in the villages.  10 youth  are selected from  125+ applications  after  06 steps long process . These youth are going to work with the government school in their village and lead the educational change in their own villages.
