Challenges we are exposed to, during 'SPARSH'

It is almost for 2 months we have been running 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬 in the village Jhutawad. These classrooms are exciting spaces where our youth change-makers experiment with various teaching techniques to instil joy in learning. This journey has not been without challenges so far. Our change-maker 𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 shares, "A few of the children have been irregular to attend classes. They come for a day or two and be absent for another day without prior notice. This means they lag behind the class often and have to be engaged separately for them to cope up. "𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐡 also quotes that he has been teaching Hindi off lately. Though children are good at reading stories, they often face problem in writing. Even the students of class 6 find it difficult to identify and write the correct 'matras'. So Kamlesh, before going ahead with creative writing activities, had to start off with basic Hindi writing skills. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫

𝐔𝐭𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚's Reflections "The other day I was at the bank when someone asked my help for filling an account opening form. The form was bilingual, and the person who asked for help spoke Hindi well. I started filling the details for her. I asked her to spell her name, which s
